Overview#
In PKI 10.6 some of the custom logging framework has been replaced with Tomcat’s JULI which is based on java.util.logging.
Installation Logs#
Installation logs are stored in:
pki–spawn.YYMMDDhhmmss.log
pki–destroy.YYMMDDhhmmss.log

Subsystem Access Log#
The log configuration is defined in /var/lib/pki/pki-tomcat/conf/ca/CS.cfg:
log.impl.file.class=com.netscape.cms.logging.RollingLogFile

logAudit.fileName=[PKI_INSTANCE_PATH]/logs/[PKI_SUBSYSTEM_TYPE]/access

Subsystem Self-Test Log#
Self-test logs are stored in /var/lib/pki/pki-tomcat/logs/ca/selftests.log.

Upgrade Logs#
System upgrade logs are stored in /var/log/pki/pki-upgrade-.log. Server upgrade logs are stored in /var/log/pki/pki-server-upgrade-.log.
