Debug levels:
         1 - trace
         2 - packets
         4 - arguments
         8 - connections
        16 - ber
        32 - filters
        64 - config
       128 - accesscontrol
       256 - stats
       512 - stats2
      2048 - parsing
      4096 - housekeeping
      8192 - replication
     16384 - errors (always logged)
     32768 - caches
     65536 - plugins
    131072 - timing
    262144 - accesscontrolsummary
    524288 - backend
To activate multiple levels, add the numeric values together or separate the
values with a + character, e.g., all of the following have the same effect:
    -d connections+filters
    -d 8+32
    -d 40

Access Log#

To configure access log level:

$ ldapmodify -x -D "cn=Directory Manager" -w Secret.123
dn: cn=config
changetype: modify
replace: nsslapd-accesslog-level
nsslapd-accesslog-level: 256

Error Log#

To configure error log level:

$ ldapmodify -x -D "cn=Directory Manager" -w Secret.123
dn: cn=config
changetype: modify
replace: nsslapd-errorlog-level
nsslapd-errorlog-level: 16384
